Someone made the comment earlier that this is just a ruse to keep his sorry rear end out of prison. Wouldn't surprise me.
I would not wish alzheimer's on anyone! And I would really prefer to see "W" live to be about 90...and aware every minute of what he has done not only to this country, but to the world!!
I would say he has early signs of dementia...which is not surprising, since he was a practicing alcoholic from late teens to 40...PLUS a cocaine addict...we do not know what other substances he indulged in...it is quite 'natural' for him to exhibit brain reduction abilities as this age...a natural result of abuse...go have a conversation with any drug (or recovering) addict or recovering or active alcoholic...you will notice the same traits...behaviors, oddities..I would predict that he will end his life not in charge of his mental faculties.
Either President Bush is severely depressed or he has early Alzheimer dementia. The signs are there. The stress President Bush has endured these past 7 years has had to take a toll on his health. I hope that his inability to find the correct words in public speaking is depression and not Alzheimer dementia. I wouldn't wish Alzheimer dementia on anyone. It is a debilitating disease. President Bush doesn't have a history of being a poor public speaker or unintelligent man.
The insidious nature of Alzheimer's can be confusing and often a diagnosis is elusive. My husband has alzheimers and he was watching W speak and said, "I feel sorry for him. He has what I have."
I wish the Bush family had the courage to get an comprehensive testing and face the consequence. Due to his illness, Bush should relinquish his presidency.
Bush more than likely has executive function issues. (Not unlike Nelson Rockefeller.) His parents had the money and the clout to help him survive the American educational system and move him into the presidency.
This makes sense. I wonder if there is anything out there that will substantiate or refute this? Do you know of any?
